'The People v O.J. Simpson' Star Sterling K. Brown Joins 'Black Panther'
Black Panther's cast is immense and impressive already, and it's now added yet another talented actor. Emmy-winner Sterling K. Brown has joined the picture, which is currently in production.
Brown will play N'Jobu, a figure from T'Challa's past. It seems that the character doesn't exist in the comic book world of Black Panther, or at least not by that name. Brown has seen a sensational 2016 capped by this casting, following his acclaimed role as Christopher Darden in FX's The People v O.J. Simpson. For the role, he won an Emmy, and has also been nominated for a Golden Globe.
Ryan Coogler directs and Chadwick Boseman stars in a cast that includes Michael B. Jordan, Forest Whitaker, Lupita Nyong’o, Angela Bassett, Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, and Florence Kasumba. It opens February 16, 2018.
