'The Return of Swamp Thing' Headed to Blu-Ray
In the 1980s, DC comics property Swamp Thing made its way to the big screen, in one of the more obscure superhero adaptations in film history. It got a sequel in 1989 from director Jim Wynorski, and now the cult classic is getting a blu-ray release.
"Finally coming to BluRay very shortly," the director announced via Twitter. here's no word on release date or extras yet, but the original film has already been available on blu-ray for some time and includes audio commentary from writer/director Wes Craven, and interviews with cast and creator.
While I can't comment on the film myself, it sounds interesting if a little dated. It was given just 30 days of production and pulled it off in 27.
