The Walking Dead to Commence Filming Season 7 on May 2
AMC's The Walking Dead will kick off production on season 7 on Monday with principal photography.
Theoretically, this means they'll close out that hanging thread that is last season's cliffhanger, but there's no way they'll provoke any revelations by doing something like that. Likely, they'll leave that to one of the later things they deal with.
Filming will start near Hampton, GA according to Spoiling Dead Fans. The production's 'base camp' will be at the Atlanta Motor Speedway for the start of the season.
The series returns in October, and expect footage for the new year at ComicCon.
