The Weinstein Company Adds 'The Current War' and Two Others to 2017 Calendar
The Weinstein Company has added three films to its 2017 release calendar. Mary Magdelene, The Current War, and Wind River have all been set for late 2017 arrival in cinemas.
Mary Magdalene hails from Lion director and stars Rooney Mara, Joaquin Phoenix, and Chiwetel Ejiofor. It will land on November 24. The Current War, starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Michael Shannon, will hit theaters on December 22, 2017. And lastly, Taylor Sheridan's directorial debut (the writer behind Hell or High Water, Sicario), Wind River, will arrive on August 4. That one stars Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen.
