Tim Blake Nelson in talks for The Fantastic Four
Tim Blake Nelson is in talks to play eccentric scientist Harvey Elder in Fox’s reboot of The Fantastic Four.
He joins a cast that includes includes Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan, Jamie Bell and Toby Kebbell. Josh Trank is directing.
Based on the Marvel comic, The Ultimate Fantastic Four, the contemporary update will focus on the characters as young men and women. Trank will helm the pic, with Simon Kinberg, Matthew Vaughn and Gregory Goodman serving as producers.
The Fantastic Four is slated to bow June 19, 2015. A second instalment is due in summer 2017.
