Title Revealed for 'The Good Wife' Spin-Off as Production Begins
CBS has revealed that its The Good Wife spin-off is titled The Good Fight, and has officially kicked off production in New York.
After debuting its first episode on broadcast network TV, CBS All Access will stream the series much the same way as the upcoming Star Trek Discovery is intended to air. After an enormous financial scam destroys young lawyer Maia's reputation and wipes out her mentor's savings, the two are forced out of one law firm and into another.
Christine Baranski and Cush Jumbo reprise their roles as Diane Lockhart and Lucca Quinn, making the jump from the original series. Rose Leslie, Delroy Lindo, Sarah Steele, Paul Guilfoyle, Bernadette Peters and Erica Tazel round out the cast.
It will premiere in February 2017.
