Tom Hiddleston Raises His Hand as Potential Bond Applicant
Tom Hiddleston has voiced his fascination in playing the role of James Bond. The actor is lauded for his varying roles, from Loki to Hand Williams, and now he's staking his claim for the the role of 007.
Admitting he is a huge fan of the franchise, Hiddleston had this to say: "I simply love the theme tune, the tropes and the mythology. I love the whole thing... If it ever came knocking, it would be an extraordinary opportunity. And I'm very aware of the physicality of the job. I would not take it lightly."
It sounds like he's interviewing for the role, and there would plenty plenty of people whose ears might just twitch at the possibility of his casting. Daniel Craig's tenure as Bond is rumoured to have come to an end. If this is the case, Hiddleston is just another name to add to the wishlist, for both fans and the studio behind the franchise.
