"Tom Holland is far and away the best Spidey ever." James Gunn Praises New Webslinger
Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn has commented in the wake of the latest trailer for Captain America Civil War. Having seen the film in full, and repeats that it is one of his "favourite marvel movies."
He described him as such: "Tom Holland is far and away the best Spidey ever," before elaborating and in a way by saying "Holland is to Spidey/Peter Parker as [Robert] Downey [Jnr.] is to Iron Man, Ledger was to the Joker, and Pratt is to Quill.
Pretty high praise, and we can't really confirm or deny given what little we saw of Holland's portrayal in the trailer. The director also noted that the trailer gives very little, if anything at all, away for the upcoming film.
