Upcoming Sci-Fi Thriller 'Attach' Adds 'Chronicle' Actor Alex Russell in Lead Role
Chronicle's Alex Russell has joined sci-fi thriller Attach, from writer and director Chris Gorak. Adam Schroeder comes across from producing work on Chronicle and Sleepy Hollow to play the same role here, alongside Rob Paris of Paris Film. Highland Film Group will introduce the film to buyers at next week's Berlin Film Festival.
Russell will play as a star athlete who undergoes an experimental surgery that permanently attaches a bionic arm and leg to his body after he loses both in a car accident. When he realizes that the advanced intelligent prosthetics may have destructive tendencies, he begins to fight back against it for the sake of himself and those around him.
“We’re going to explore the most current and innovative science and technology in this film,” said Schroeder. “I couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of Chris Gorak’s provocative vision and distinctive worldview.”
