What are the differences between the first Hangover and The Hangover Part II?
Bradley Cooper: Well, I mean, it raises the stakes. It raises the stakes. And changed the environment. But it was a conscious decision to keep the structure, which we were all very happy about. Because I think that I as a fan wanna see a something night again. I wanna see these guys get their way out of a crazy situation, that was like the first one. But you change the scenario to Bangkok from Vegas and everything follows suit. And then we also have one of the wolf pack getting married, so that's a whole different thing.
Was it more comfortable filming The Hangover Part II, having already worked together on the first Hangover?
Ed Helms: Yeah, and actually the script reflects it. Like we... Where the script picks up the relationships are established. A lot of the groundwork has been done. The same is true for us as buddies. We became close on The Hangover 1 and showed up for work excited to get back into that groove.
What were some of the most fun scenes to film?
You know, day one of production was iHop. And that was just fun. It was like, we're back, here we go. And it's just a silly scene. It's not too complicated, so it was sort of fun to start of that way.
It's true, yeah, we did have fun with that scene.
I also had a lot of fun in that dentist office with you.
Yeah, we did!
That got cut down a little bit. Those are some fun ridiculous stuff that's in there.
Zach Galifianakis: So two scenes I wasn't in.
Yes!
Zach Galifianakis, Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms also talk about the “Wake-Up" scene in The Hangover Part II.
