Here are the worldwide box office totals for The Hangover, Pixar’s Up, Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian, The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3, Star Trek, Terminator Salvation, Imagine That and Angels & Demons.
After 2 weeks, the rather low budget The Hangover is doing incredible. Ticket sales are through the roof. Up is on its way to be very profitable this summer. People aren’t sick of Ben Stiller yet and went to Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian in masses.
The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 is starting rather weak, but has a couple of weeks and the overseas markets yet to come. J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek is still doing well and is doing particularly well in the US. While Terminator Salvation is doing great, but gets its biggest percentage overseas.
Let’s not talk about Imagine That. It launched awful. And last, but certainly not least, Angels and Demons is doing well in the US, but amazing in international markets. Here are the box office totals up until today:
