Roland Emmerich: The more and more I read, the more I think like William Shakespeare has not written these words. He actually had nothing to with it. A lot of people are afraid to touch that subject matter. They don't want to have the controversy.
I see it more like a way to have a really, really exciting subject matter out there. An exciting topic. That people could argue about. And I think that's a function of what movies should have.
