What could you see?
Nothing. Just a bit of street. You could only see a little bit. That's all.
After 6 years in the room, her mother tricked her into marrying.
Mother: I suppose I was too young to care.
Her husband's family kept her inside and she began to write poems in secret.
Husband: I keep saying no rice. You keep bringing it.
Most nights, he's pick a fight. Tell me to stop writing.
Then he bought some acid and threatened to pour it on my face. I was so scared.
By the time her poems reached a publisher, she'd been kept inside for 20 years.
