Warner Bros. and DC Find Their Director for 'The Flash'
Deadine reports that Warner Bros. has picked director Rick Famuyiwa (Dope) to helm the 2018 solo film for The Flash, following Seth Grahame-Smith's departure in late April.
A finalised deal is forthcoming, and the report mentioned that Famuyiwa "provided a vision" that not only would resonate with young viewers but would also be in line with the script the studio already has on hand.
The film will stick with the script from Grahame-Smith, which was based off a treatment by The Lego Movie's Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. It will hit theaters March 16, 2018.
