WGN America's Comic Book Adaptation 'Scalped' Rounds Out Casting

HaydnSpurrell The headline cast for WGN America's upcoming pilot Scalped has been complete, adding Gil Birmingham, Irene Bedard, and Chaske Spencer to join Alex Meraz and Lily Gladstone.

Native American filmmaker Sterlin Haro will produce on the series, joining executive producer Len Golstein on a creative team lead by executive producer and writer Doug Jung. Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah will direct the pilot, based on characters created by Jason Aaron and R.M. Guera for the Vertigo DC Comics imprint. The modern day crime drama explored power, loyalty, and spirituality in a community led by Chief Red Crow.
