WGN Comic Book Adaptation 'Scalped' Adds Lily Gladstone as First Casting
WGN's upcoming adaptation of Vertigo comic book series Scalped has cast Lily Gladstone as its first member of the ensemble. The series Is based on the comic book by Jason Aaron and R.M. Guera, an intense crime drama mixing organised crime with Native American culture.
Gladstone will play Carol Red Crow, the estranged daughter of Chief Lincoln Red Crow and an old friend of lead character Dash, who reunites with him after he returns to the reservation fifteen years after leaving.
Doug Jones wrote the pilot script, and it will be directed by Bilall Fallah and Adil El Arbi.
