'Where's Waldo' is Getting a Film Adaptation
Where's Waldo has been on someone's to-do list for a decade or so now. Development has never launched off of the ground into something tangible, until now apparently. Two producers have signed on to head the project.
Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg have committed themselves to bringing Waldo to the big screen. Their Point Grey production company will head production. The producers add this to a list that includes their upcoming AMC series, Preacher. For those that don't know, that's a massive leap.
MGM has owned the rights since 2011, and had a screenwriter lined up to pen a live-action adaptation. There's no word on whether Rogen and Goldberg will be working from scratch, or taking what's there already.
