Zack Snyder Teases Superman's Role in 'Justice League'
Superman has been missing from any photos that have been released so far for Justice League, apart from the cast shot above. But while he's been missing from promotional since then, that one shot emphasises the disappointing nature of blockbuster cinema today.
While the Man of Steel died in Batman v Superman, and while everybody saw that and thought, "he'll be back in the next film," there was a golden opportunity to put doubt in that expectation. Already, though, we know Superman will play a role. While director Zack Snyder is quite tantilizing with his quote to Empire, we're still months from the film releasing.
“Superman does play a big part in this movie,” Snyder tells the outlet. “His presence, and lack of presence, are big story points…” So what I mean by my above sentence is that, with months to go before the film, I have no doubt we'll learn more and more about Superman's presence ahead of the film's release.
Hopefully, there's at least some mystery left over for when the film lands in theaters November 10.
