'Avengers: Age of Ultron' Passes $250 Million at the International Box Office
After just eight days of release, Marvel's latest blockbuster, Avengers: Age of Ultron, has passed the $250 million marker at the international box office.
The movie opened last weekend to an impressive $201.2 million in 44 foreign territories. It will open today in Mexico and Spain, two big markets, along with others.
The movie opens in the U.S. on Friday and is expected to top the opening weekend figures of the first Avengers movie, which was a record breaking $207.4 million in 2012. It then went on to gross over $1.5 billion globally, and it's being estimated that Age of Ultron may surpass that figure.
The movie was made for $250 million and with the numbers it's already achieved in eight days (with more to come), it comes as no surprise that Age Ultron will easily make a huge profit.
