Ben Foster in Talks to Play Villain in 'Inferno' Starring Tom Hanks
Inferno is close to locking in its lead villain with Ben Foster in talks with executives and director Ron Howard regarding a role to play opposite Tom Hanks.
Foster is holding discussions about playing Bertrand Zobrist, a super-rich scientist who comes up with a terrifying plan to deal with the world’s overpopulation. He’ll have show downs against Robert Langdon, once again played by Hanks and Sienna Brooks, played by Felicity Jones.
The Hollywood Reporter broke the news of this new Inferno casting, which comes a month after Sony made the official casting announcements. Inferno is set for a 14th October 2016 release and will start shooting next month.
