Channing Tatum Won't be in 'X-Men: Apocalypse'
In a recent AMA on Reddit, Channing Tatum was asked if his character would make a cameo in the new film which is currently filming, Tatum replied, "No ma'am, or sir, definitely not."
It had been suggested by 'X-Men: Apocalypse' director Bryan Singer that Tatum may make an appearance, but according to the actor, that isn't the case.
Later on in the chat, Tatum did gave a glowing reference regarding the hiring of Rupert Wyatt (Rise of the Planet of the Apes) who will direct 'Gambit.' Tatum said, "We finally found someone that I really do believe wants to make Gambit, it will be the second standalone character. And i just really think because Gambit is not the most popular or the biggest hero, I think there’s a really unique opportunity. Marvel’s done a lot of great movies that have made a ridiculous amount of money, and it’s always good to figure how to change the form."
