Commissioner Gordon Has Officially Been Cast for Justice League: Part One
With Batman V Superman set to be released in 17 days, Warner Bros. has been hard at work preparing for the anticipated Justice League Part One, which heads into production in April.
With hints at possible casting being leaked from time to time, we finally get our first casting news for a major character. Oscar winner J.K. Simmons will play Gotham City's honest commissioner James Gordon.
Simmons is best known in the comic book world as angry J. Jonah Jameson in the Spiderman franchise. Simmons joins the already impressive cast that includes Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot and Henry Cavill reprising their roles as Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman.
New additions to the cast include Amber Heard and Ray Fisher. Will Simmons prove to be the definitive Commissioner Gordon, even after Gary Oldman's stellar work in the role? We'll find out November 17, 2017.
