Complete Hobbit Trilogy Marathon to Screen in IMAX Theatres on 15th December
With the release of the final chapter of the Hobbit trilogy fast approaching, it's been announced that a marathon screening of the previous two Hobbit movies will screen in cinemas back-to-back on the 15th December.
Peter Jacksonās final journey to Middle Earth, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, opens on the 17th December and in similar vein to what Warner Bros. did with the final Lord of the Rings film, they'll be hosting screenings of the previous two movies, leading up to the opening of the third and last chapter.
The Hobbit Trilogy marathon will happen in select IMAX theatres on the 15th December with tickets going on sale in the USA this Friday (14th November), with other parts of the world already having them on sale. The Hobbit: The Unexpected Journey would play at 1 pm, The Desolation of Smaug at 4 pm and then The Battle of the Five Armies at 7 pm. Those are just rough estimations of times from what we've heard and will obviously depend on various time-zones across the world. So, make sure to check times and if your local IMAX theatre is taking part in this Hobbit marathon.
