Director Peyton Reed Would Like To Do 'Ant-Man 2'
During the 'Ant-Man' premiere, director Peyton Reed spoke with Variety and voiced his willingness to return for a potential sequel. “If we’re fortunate enough to do another Ant-Man movie, I would love to do it,” he said. Reed replaced Edgar Wright who departed the project citing creative differences.
Evangeline Lilly is also eager to come back as well. “All I know is that I had to sign up for three films, as does anybody,” she said. “And I hope they use me for two more.”
It's unknown as to whether Paul Rudd would be willing to return as the superhero. He will suit-up as Ant-Man in the upcoming 'Captain America: Civil War' movie, but that's the only upcoming Marvel movie he his slated to star in after this release. However, if Ant-Man proves to be hit with audiences, we expect Rudd would be willing to return for a sequel.
