Disney Pass $1 Billion at the U.S. Box Office
Disney Studios have passed the $1 billion marker at the U.S. box office thanks in large to Inside Out, Cinderella and Avengers: Age of Ultron. The studio crossed the threshold in 174 days, beating its previous best of 188 days. This marks the 19th time that Disney has hit that figure in the United States. The studio hopes the good news doesn't end here. They have yet to roll out Ant-Man and the potential box office smash hit, Star Wars: The Force Awakens — the only movie that could beat out Universal's record breaking Jurassic World.
