Fire at Sea
The Golden Bear winner Fire at Sea is one of the most talked about movies of the festival.
It takes us deep inside the migrant crisis of last year. To make the documentary Fire at Sea, the Italian director Gianfranco Rosi spent long stretches on the tiny island, actually closer to Tunisia than to Sicily, as well as on an Italian military ship that rescues boats of migrants who risk their lives at sea to reach Europe.
