'Jurassic World' Passes 'The Avengers' To Become Third Biggest Movie Of All-Time
A few days ago, Jurassic World passed Furious 7 in the all-time rankings for fourth highest grossing movie. Now, the dino flick has taken down Marvel's The Avengers to become the third highest grossing movie of all-time.
To date, the sequel directed by Colin Trevorrow and starring Chris Pratt, has taken $1.522 billion at the worldwide box office, beating The Avengers’ $1.520 billion. Jurassic World now has its sights set on James Cameron’s Titanic, which is sitting pretty in second place with $2.186 billion. Experts are predicting the dinosaurs will fall short in surpassing Cameron's Oscar winner.
