Meryl Streep, Clive Owen Join 2016 Berlin Film Festival Jury
Meryl Streep and Clive Owen have been announced as members of the seven-strong jury for the 2016 Berlin Film Festival.
The festival begins on February 11 and will open up with the Coen Brothers latest, Hail, Caesar! starring George Clooney, Scarlett Johansson, Josh Brolin, Tilda Swinton and Channing Tatum.
Joining Streep and Owen on the jury will be Alba Rohrwacher, Lars Eldinger, French photographer Brigitte Lacombe, Polish film director Malgorzata Szumowska and Sight & Sound editor Nick James.
Organisers announced this years festival will honour David Bowie, Alan Rickman and Ettore Scala with special screenings. They will also pay homage and award an honorary Golden Bear to legendary German Director of Photography Michael Ballhaus, who shot The Departed and Gangs of New York.
