Oscar Wins by Studio: Fox Searchlight Leads the Way... Again
The 87th Academy Awards once again was a big one for Fox Searchlight — its second consecutive Best Picture winner with Birdman, after 12 Years a Slave in 2014.
This years Oscars also made Fox Searchlight the most successful studio with it bagging a total of 8 Academy Awards — four from Birdman, and 4 from Wes Anderson's, The Grand Budapest Hotel — which had a good award season in general.
