Ricky Gervais’ David Brent Movie ‘Life On The Road’ Acquired by Open Road
Open Road Films has acquired the U.S. rights to Life On The Road, the Ricky Gervais movie that revives Gervais’ David Brent character made famous on the original UK series The Office. Gervias wrote, directed and stars in the picture, which now has a UK release date set for August 19, 2016, with Open Road planning a wide theatrical release in the U.S. shortly thereafter.
