'The Breakfast Club' Will Return to Theatres for 30th Anniversary
John Hughes' classic teen movie The Breakfast Club will have a re-release to celebrated its 30th anniversary this March.
The re-release will be a newly restored version of the movie that will be shown in 430 U.S. theatres for two nights only on the 26th and 31st March at 7:30 p.m. local time. Fathom Events, Universal Pictures Home Entertainment and BY Experience will be presenting the event.
The screenings will include a bonus featurette including interviews with cast members Judd Nelson, Ally Sheedy, Anthony Michael Hall and John Kapelos as well as filmmakers Diablo Cody, Amy Heckerling and Michael Lehman. Tickets for The Breakfast Club 30th Anniversary screenings go on sale Friday through Fathom’s Digital Broadcast Network. This newly restored version will also have a blu-ray release on the 10th March.
