The squad arrives
David Ayer and DC presents Suicide Squad. A secret government agency recruits some imprisoned meta humans to execute dangerous black ops missions. The first act of the movie was set up excatley to what our expectations were of the movie. Fast, unique and straight up crazy Guy Richie type fun. From the second act on, the movie shyed away from what it had going for it. The movie did have heart, which is something that DC lacks in it's movies. The use of the Joker was good. We have seen him many times before but never in a role where love and chaos where his main motivations. The Enchantress and Harley Quinn stole the movie in my opinion. All in all, I don't think that the Rotten Tomatoes score of 33% is correct. The movie was entertaining but not perfect. I give the movie three stars and would recommend others to watch this crazy, wacky family that is the Suicide Squad.
